Top 5 Movie Songs.
66The Music Makes The Movie.
Think back to some of your favourite films, what sticks out in your head about them?
I bet for at least one of them you remember a piece of music or a song.A movies soundtrack plays a huge part in making a great movie. In this hub I'm going to be taking a look back at 5 movies that all have one thing in common. They each have a song on the soundtrack that is so memorable that as soon as you hear it you automatically name the film it's from.
Dirty Dancing (1987)
Ok first off im gonna say I absolutely loathe this movie. Ive been forced to sit through it a million times as my Mrs loves it. That said the memorable song in question for Dirty Dancing is Time Of My life, by Bill Medley and Jennifer warnes.
Love or loathe the movie once this track starts you cant help but feel yourself getting sucked into its charm. As patrick Swayze gets his girl and utters the immortal line "Noone puts baby in the corner" then takes to the stage for the final dance of the season.
The Time Of My Life.
Ghostbusters (1984)
Without a doubt one of the greatest movies ever made ( might just be my opinion). There is no way i could of left Ghostbusters out of this list as its theme tune has got to be probably the most easily recognised.Performed by the incredible Ray parker Jr and inventively entitled "Ghostbusters". Try and not sing along when you hear this.Who you gonna call?

Top Gun (1986)
What is it with the 80's for classics? Top gun has more than one memorable soundtrack moment. The scene where Maverick (tom Cruise) trys to sing to gain a seat next to his sexy flight instructor in the bar (Youve lost that loving feeling).
Then theres Highway through the danger zone, another great track but not the most memorable. That accolade is awarded to Berlin with Take my breath away.
Take My Breath Away.
Shaun Of The Dead (2004)
Ok this one probably hasnt been around long enough yet to be a classic, but it still makes this list. The sequence in the pub where the zombies get in and Dont stop me now is blaring out over the jukebox. Everytime i see that scene im crying with laughter, David flicking the lights on and off in perfect sync with the tune is just so dam funny.
Dont Stop me now. (Queen)
Ghost (1990)
Who would of thought pottery could be so sexy, Demi moore makes me want to sign up for art classes in one of her earlier movies Ghost. The fantastic Unchained melody from the righteous brothers will forever be cemented in our heads and always associated with this movie.
So there you have five of the most memorable songs from the movies. Im sure theres loads more i could of put in here. I could probably think of 100 but i dont have that kind of stamina . I hope you have enjoyed reading and reliving some magical movie moments. I look forward to comments and suggestions.
